\n This day is designed for maximum \u201cwow\u201d with minimum toddler rebellion.\n Morning = Pantheon + Piazza Navona<\/strong>. Then we obey nap law (12:00\u201314:00<\/strong>).\n Afternoon = Castel Sant\u2019Angelo<\/strong>, aka \u201cthe castle where Theodor will demand to be king.\u201d\n <\/p>\n\n

Morning Mission (Before 12:00): Pantheon & Piazza Navona<\/h2>\n\n

1) Pantheon (The Dome That Shouldn\u2019t Exist)<\/h3>\n

\n The Pantheon is ancient engineering flexing at full volume: a giant dome, perfect symmetry,\n and an opening in the roof (the oculus) that makes you look up and forget you have legs.\n It\u2019s also a pretty manageable stop with a toddler: one main space, lots to stare at, and then we\u2019re done.\n <\/p>\n\n

    2) Piazza Navona (Fountains + Open Space = Toddler Heaven)<\/h3>\n

    \n Piazza Navona is basically Rome showing off. Big open square, famous fountains,\n street life, and enough movement to keep Theodor entertained without us bribing him\n with 17 emergency crackers (only 12).\n <\/p>\n\n

    • Toddler risk:<\/strong> water features are magnetically attractive. Eyes on the tiny ass.<\/li>\n

        \n Castel Sant\u2019Angelo is part fortress, part museum, part \u201cwe have stairs and secrets.\u201d\n It\u2019s a fantastic post-nap plan because it feels like an adventure: ramps, rooms, views,\n and a big dramatic building that makes everyone feel like they\u2019re in a movie.\n <\/p>\n\n
